Finding a boutique hotel in Cuba isn’t so easy.

Cuba is still relatively new to expansion into tourism and hospitality. When searching for places to stay, you’ll come across massive hotels fitted with 300+ rooms and no personalized services. On the other side of the spectrum, you’ll find many older B&B’s with shared accommodations. Buildings in Havana are old and the accommodations usually reflect that, until we came across Paseo206 located on Avenida Paseo.

Casual Cuban Elegance

From the moment you step into Paseo, you are immediately greeted by warm and welcoming staff who are fluent in English. Due to it being a boutique hotel with only 10 rooms, you are treated with special care. The staff really get to know you and take interest into making your stay as pleasant as possible. Book Paseo here: https://bit.ly/3bTSMfF My group had no set plans and from day 1, the front of house staff Ruben, Carlos, and Sharon helped us plan our entire stay, booked our reservations, schedule cabs and overall made the trip as smooth and relaxing as possible. They will even charge cabs, tours and over such activities to your room so you don’t spend all of your cash. They will also exchange currency at the front desk.

The Spacious Rooms

The rooms were elegant and tasteful. Wifi is free which is a rare commodity in Cuba. While Wifi is typically slow everywhere in Cuba, this was no different. You can check your messages and browse the internet, but don’t expect to be on back to back zoom calls.

A+ Breakfast

The breakfast at the hotel was delicious! Fruits, eggs made to order, bread with spreads, and a croissant to die for! Eclectico, their in-house restaurant, is also fantastic! We ate there 3 of the 5 nights we were in Cuba. The owners are Italian and Cuban and you can tell how thoughtful they were in creating the menu and selecting their chef.
